So...more accurate date now?

Not just the date on a post shown now, but also--wait for it--the time! Now you know exactly when a post was made, isn\'t that so neat? :3

An administration panel!?

Today marks the day the software changes...this post has been made through the administration panel! It's not perfect, but functional at least, so...hey!

This also marks the day the software passes from version 0.1 into 0.2. Rawk on!

Another update (2008-07-21)

My second update today, and this is to inform you that Copperplate now has RSS 2.0 support! I intend to incorporate Atom 1.0 support as well, and once that's done with, put in basic RSS 1.0 and Atom 0.3 support for backwards compatibility.

Subscribe to our RSS feed today!

Update at 20:11: Okay, I skipped a bit of order. I added an RSS 1.0 feed, and there's still no Atom support whatsoever. Since I could just modify my RSS 2.0 file to make something RSS 1.0 compatible, that was the easiest to do. I'll work on Atom later!

Update at 21:24: Atom 1.0 support! Nothing with Atom 0.3 yet, I'll give that a shot later for backwards compatibility, but this means that in terms of web feeds, we are at the level of dasBlog and beyond the level of Blogger. Once we incorporate any RSS 0.9x support, our web feed system will be as powerful as Wordpress.

Update (2008-07-21)

So, commenting seems to work 100%! Next up I just need to work a bit more on the admin panel and I have a basic blog system up and running. Then I make a template engine and a default theme and the first distribution will be ready to go (although I wouldn't recommend it to be used for a proper blog, just for experimental purposes).

Update (2008-07-20)

The blog still isn't really that amazing, can't even rival...well, any other blog system. However, today's updates are as follows:

I'll get commenting done and finished tomorrow.

Introducing Copperplate blog software!

Copperplate is GMRealm's new PHP blog software. Currently in a very early alpha stage, Copperplate will be available for free download from the GMRealm website once we have the basic features done, and update packages will be released every so often to allow more features, better security, etc.
